This is an event with the aim of raising awareness about kidney failure. I had my 3rd kidney transplant in 2006 and couldn't believe that public knowledge was still so little when nobody could understand why I needed to have a second, let alone a third. I felt at that time we needed to do something,
So here it is!! Live in the flesh, a rock festival full of great bands with awesome talent and big hearts willing to rock your socks off to help raise £50,000 for Kidney Research UK to enable them to keep giving out much needed funding for research into better treatments, drugs and possible cures. Tickets include 2 nights accommodation so no taxis home and a 24 hour bar to boot!! What more can you ask. There'll be loads more acts added in the next couple of weeks so keep listening out as the publicity engine starts turning and we head towards the big weekend!!
